Future Activities

Walking and Working Together The youth mission trip is scheduled for June 23 through June 29! They will be working with Renewing Homes of Augusta County to rehab homes for those in need of a hand up. We have received a warm welcome back to stay at First Presbyterian Church of Staunton and look forward to helping our youth make a difference in the lives of others. Please support our youth by participating in our fundraiser by sponsoring one or more walkers in their 6-mile hike around Lake Galena ($6 each) or sponsoring a worker for $321 for the 321 miles to Staunton, Va. Please place donations in an envelope marked “youth scholarship fund” in the offering plate or in the church office. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting the faith formation of our young people.

The One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) offering enables the Church to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the World and in our own backyard by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed. Please prayerfully consider your gift to OGHS which will be dedicated next week on Easter Sunday. May God’s will be done through our hearts, hand, and resources.

Save the Date! Women and Children’s Dinner is sponsored by the Women’s Fellowship which will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. There is a new menu this year and the en-tertainment will be the Madrigal Singers from William Tennent High School where our own Jose Recinos is a member of the group. Tickets will be on sale on April 28 and May 5 after service in the library. The cost is $15/adult and $11/children 3-11, under 3 are free. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the dinner.

Do you have unwanted Sunday coupons??? The Deacons will use your unwanted coupons! Just place them into the marked basket outside the Library. No need to clip - the Deacons will take care of that.
